Loitering Violations

No Loitering

The City of Vicksburg Police Department helps to protect the safety and peace of city citizens by enforcing loitering regulations throughout the community. These laws make it unlawful for any person to loiter or prowl in a place at any time in a manner which causes citizens to fear for the safety of their lives or property. The Vicksburg Police Department responds to complaints of loitering around the city, and also patrols public areas regularly to prevent unlawful loitering. For more information about this regulation or to report a suspected loitering violation, contact the City of Vicksburg Police Department’s main offices, located at 820 Veto Street, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, or call them at (601) 636-2511.
