The threat of losing your home can be frightening and confusing, but help is available. The City of Vicksburg Planning Department offers referral information for free and confidential counseling and assistance to citizens of the City of Vicksburg facing the possibility of foreclosure. A foreclosure prevention agency will explore the options available to you to continue financing your home, including loans, grants, and other assistance programs. They may also be able to help you make the transition to a new home should foreclosure become inevitable.
For referral to a foreclosure prevention agency(ies) call the City of Vicksburg Planning Department, located at 805 South Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180, at (601) 634-4522 or (601) 634-4520 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
