City of Vicksburg False AlarmsEach year, the City of Vicksburg Fire Department responds to several calls that turn out to be false alarms. These are not only an expensive inconvenience to the Vicksburg Fire department, but they also endanger anyone actually suffering from a fire in the City of Vicksburg. To curtail the number of false alarms, the City of Vicksburg Fire Department aggressively investigates these cases and prosecutes perpetrators to the fullest extent of the law. Individuals involved must appear in municipal court and may be subject to a fine of up to $1,000, or imprisonment for up to 30 days.

If you have information concerning a false alarm, please contact the City of Vicksburg Fire Department located at 1630 Walnut Street, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or call them at (601) 636-1603.
