The City of Vicksburg Fire Department provides emergency medical services (EMS) to all citizens of Vicksburg and Warren County. We currently have ambulances available to respond around the clock to medical emergencies. Ambulances are located at the following fire stations -- Central Fire Station - 1630 Walnut Street, Station 6 - 912 Cherry Street, Station 8 - 1290 South Frontage Road, and Station 9 - 323 Waltersville Street.
All Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's )and paramedics are state and nationally certified medical personnel skilled in CPR and more advanced life saving techniques. Their goal is to sustain life until the victim reaches the hospital.
