Recycling Pilot Area Expanded

The City of Vicksburg has expanded the the pilot curbside recycling program test area. The original area included residents living between Cherry Street, Eisenhower Drive, East Avenue and Chambers Street. The new area has been expanded to include Drummond Street beginning with the 2200 block going south and the south end of Cherry Street to Finney Street. The project includes the recycling of paper and plastic. There is no charge to residents participating in the program. Residents in the pilot area are asked to call 601-801-5377 for more information.
