The Vicksburg Police Department received a few concerns about the Christmas parade not having enough barricades. The Main Street program received complaints from downtown merchants that the use of full barricades hurt their business. Therefore, the VPD was asked to not place full barricades along the Washington Street area, but to only place them at intersections, in order to not interfere with downtown patrons.  We regret any inconveniences this may have caused.  Please have a Safe and Happy Holiday season...
