The Vicksburg Police Department participated in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign which ran from December 20, 2014 through January 1, 2015. The Campaign focused on removing impaired drivers from our roadways. Although the focus was on drunk drivers, we did however bring attention to all violations. Chief Walter L. Armstrong believes that if one (1) person's life can be saved by removing an impaired driver from the roadway, then the enforcement efforts by the Vicksburg Police Department are certainly worth it.
