The newly constructed tennis courts at Halls Ferry Park will be the home for the 2016 Annual United Way, Breast Cancer Awareness Benefit Tennis Mixer to be held on Sunday, October 16th beginning at 1 p.m.
The popular event is open to all ages regardless of tennis skills. No registration is necessary. Participants are asked to arrive at the courts beginning at 1 p.m. Players will be mixed and matched with suitable partners and opponents. From there the fun will begin. Tennis balls will be provided by the City of Vicksburg. Players should bring their personal tennis racquets in order to play.
Grilled meats will be available; attendees are asked to bring a favorite covered dish to share.
The Tennis Mixer is free to the public; however, donations are encouraged and very much appreciated. Proceeds will benefit the United Way of West Central Mississippi and Believers of Faith Cancer Organization.
