![]() Public Hearing for Proposed I-20 Work
The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) has scheduled an open forum public hearing to discuss proposed improvements to Interstate 20 between the Louisiana State Line and the US Highway 61 North/State Route 27 Interchange in Warren County.
The hearing will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Vicksburg Convention Center and Auditorium, 1600 Mulberry Street, Vicksburg, Miss. |

3rd Annual Bricks and SpokesThe Vicksburg Main Street Program is excited to announce registration for the 3rd Annual Bricks and Spokes bicycle ride is now online! Main Street hosted
the 2nd Annual bike ride last year and it was truly a great success! The ride will take place on Saturday, October 6th beginning at 8:00 a.m. There will be a 10 mile, 30 mile, and 50 mile route option. All of the routes will start and end in Downtown Vicksburg with great food, musical entertainment, and children activities galore! To register for the ride visit www.racesonline.com The fee is $30 for early bird registration til August 17th, $35 from the August 17th til September 7th and after September 7th $40. All early bird registrants will receive an official 3rd Annual Bricks and Spokes shirt. Bricks and Spokes serves as the major fundraiser for the Main Street Program.Stay tuned for some exciting news as we reveal the course for this year's ride! |
